The Wine Board performs the ambitious task of organizing institutional events, handling public relations and designing projects that communicate and promote wine, educating people to the "art of drinking:" how to appreciate, taste and select Italy's finest products.
It engages in institutional work aimed at stimulating discussions about the important issues of grape growing and winemaking, organizing conferences and seminars at which all those involved in the sector can exchange opinions and keep up to date.
It handles relations with the wineries selected for the quality of their products, offering them the chance to promote their wines and directly involve them in all important occasions (tradeshows, wine tours, wine weeks, national oil weeks, publications, and the like).
Every year the Wine Board organizes events that "celebrate" and promote wine and, along with it, another product highly typical of Italy, olive oil.
