The following types of white and red wines, with or without citation of the variety used, are made in the territories of 18 communes in the provinces of Vercelli and Biella on the hills overlooking the river Sesia:


Bianco, Rosso, Rosato, Bonarda o Uva Rara, Croatina, Nebbiolo o Spanna, Vespolina
